Aquarium moving services
Whatever lives in your tank, we have a process built around keeping it healthy through the move.
Freshwater aquariums
Community tanks, planted scapes, shrimp tanks and biotopes. We bag and hold livestock, drain and transport the glass, then refill and re-acclimate on arrival.
Marine & reef tanks
Reef-safe holding for fish, corals and inverts. Careful rockwork keying, sump and skimmer transport, and a gentle restart of the system at the new location.
Large display tanks
Custom and oversized aquariums dismantled, lifted and rebuilt — including cabinet, bracing and equipment.
Ponds & koi
Outdoor pond relocations including koi handling, temporary holding and water management.
Shop & business systems
Retail aquatics, office displays and bespoke installations relocated outside trading hours where possible.
Short-distance shuffles
Moving a tank across a room, into a new cabinet or up to another floor — same care, no overkill.
Frequently asked
- Do you move marine and reef aquariums?
- Yes. Reef relocations are one of the most common jobs we plan. Corals and inverts travel in reef-safe holding, rockwork is keyed and labelled, and the system is restarted slowly at the new address.
- What about livestock during the move?
- Fish, inverts and corals go into temperature-stable, oxygenated holding before any glass is touched, then travel separately and are re-acclimated once the tank is back up.
- Can you move very large or custom display tanks?
- Yes. Heavy and custom builds get a proper site survey, structured dismantle and a planned rebuild — cabinet, bracing, sump and equipment included.
- How much notice do you usually need?
- A couple of weeks is comfortable for reef and large display moves; shorter notice often works for freshwater. Get in touch early and we'll hold a slot.
